Mike's Pizza Palace has closed their doors in Naugatuck; but hopes to reopen nearby.
The pizza shop closed their doors at the end of business yesterday according to a post on their social media. The restaurant has been serving the community for nearly 50 years. The shop was located at 28 Church Street in Naugatuck. The building is being sold, leading to the closure. The restaurant is looking to reopen nearby in the future. Their announcement reads: “After serving Naugatuck for almost five decades, yesterday was our last day open at this location. The building is being sold, and like many small businesses, we've faced some tough challenges that made this day come much sooner than we hoped. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who's supported Mike's Pizza through the years. Generations of families, loyal customers, teams, and friends who've made this place feel like home. We've shared a lot of memories, laughs, and late night pizzas, and we're grateful for every one of them. This isn't goodbye, it's just see you later. We're hopeful to reopen somewhere new and continue serving the community that's been so good to us.”
