-The brunch restaurant has reopened their doors in Downtown Hartford, just a week after the restaurant was forced to shutter by the Department of Revenue Services (DRS). The Downtown Hartford location is located at 5 Constitution Plaza.
-The West Hartford location still appears to be closed, though people has noticed some activity in the space so it could reopen soon. Blue Back Square recently began marketing the space in their latest lease plan; according to the lastest stipulated agreement the restaurant must vacate the space by March 31st of 2026. Other news outlet have reported the restaurant was shutter earlier this summer for a cockroach infestation. -The New Haven location is embroiled in an eviction case with their landlord. A summary process eviction for possession was added to the docket recently but further proceedings are planned. The case stems from unpaid rent according to the complaint on the court docket. The New Haven location has been closed for atleast a week, marked as 'Permanently Closed' on Google. -In a Texas-sized twist, the landlord in Dallas Texas for the yet-to-be-opened location has been granted a default judgement against P2B Dallas of nearly $2 million. That court case in the 14th District Court of Texas stemmed from unpaid rent on their planned Dallas location and other damages alleged. -Two other cases have been filed by a contractor and a supplier to The Place 2 Be. Woodcock Refrigeration filed suit on July 21st for payment of HVAC products, repairs, services and related materials from them. The amount owed sits at $5,640.35 according to the docket. US Foods filed suit on May 13th for payment of goods and/or services provided amounting to $6,739.48 according to the court docket. Shame on anyone stupid moving to do business with shady Gina. She is an Instagram influencer wannabe who purposely opens trendy restaurants to get her name out and online followers. She has no intention of paying her credits, landlords or sometimes staff. She’s a horrible person.
