Plan B will be closing 3 of their 6 locations including restaurants in West Hartford, Hartford, and Springfield Mass.
The burger chain will close the three locations by August 31st according to a statement from the restaurant group. The locations include: -Hartford at 35 Front Street, part of the Front Street District -West Hartford at 138 Park Street -Springfield at 1000 W Columbus Avenue, in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame The chain's locations in Simsbury, Glastonbury, and Milford will remain open, serving Plan B's signature high-quality burgers, bourbon, and American craft beer. All affected staff members will receive severance pay. Some employees will be offered roles at the chain's other locations. All gift cards will be honored at remaining locations. Plan B is owned by Locals 8 Hospitality. They own other concepts including Butchers & Bakers in Farmington, The Diamond in Glastonbury, and Famous 4th Street Delicatessen in Philadelphia.
