Forever 21 is closing at least 4 of their 6 Connecticut locations! Staff confirmed the planned closings at each location. Liquidation has already started at some locations with sales at 10-40% off.
Forever 21 is closing their locations in: -Manchester atThe Shoppes at Buckland Hillss -Mashantucket atTanger Outlets, Foxwoodss -Waterford at Crystal Mall -Milford at Connecticut Post Mall The Westfarms and Trumbull Mall locations will remain open according to staff members at the stores. Forever 21 previously operated stores in Meriden and Stamford; both closed in past years. The chain is contemplating a second bankruptcy filing (see Forbes article here: https://www.forbes.com/.../forever-21-chapter-11-an.../ ) and is currently liquidating a number of their stores including these 4 locations in Connecticut. We reached out to Forever 21 corporate for comment and to confirm the closings. The representative could only confirm multiple CT locations would be closing, but could not provide further information or timelines.
