It appears that Donut Crazy has closed their Connecticut locations. It is unclear at this time if the closures are temporary or permanent. We have reached out to the owners for comment, but have not heard back. Multiple calls to each location go unanswered. The donut chain serves donuts with fun flavors like fruit pebbles, french toast, birthday cake, boston cream, and others. The chain has/had 5 locations in Connecticut including: -West Hartford at 993 Farmington Avenue -Shelton at 785 River Road -Westport at 1 Ferry Lane -Stratford at 3690 Main Street -New Haven at 290 York Street The West Hartford and New Haven locations have been closed for weeks. The West Hartford location has had a paper 'Sold Out Sorry' sign on the doors since their closure. The chain closed 2 locations last year including Fairfield and Branford. Last month a 'Suspended' sign was posted on the door of their New Haven location; the State suspended their sales and use tax permits. The landlord of their Stratford location also started eviction proceedings last year after the store allegedly failed to rent on their space.
