Five Below has set the opening date for their new location in the Town of Hamden, Connecticut! Five Below will open their doors on November 21st at 10:00am according to the chain's website! The store will be located at 2100 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden; replacing Party City in Hamden Plaza. The new store plans to celebrate the grand opening that entire weekend (11/21-23) with prizes, giveaways and kids’ activities. The new store will be slightly larger than their typical locations. The Hamden location will boast roughly 12,000 square feet; while normal stores range between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet. This will be Five Below's 28th store in Connecticut. Five Below is known for its toys and games, tech, large array of candy and snacks, room decor, brand-name beauty and more. Most products are priced at $5 or less.
