UPDATED AGAIN! The opening date for CT's first Great Wolf Lodge is May 9th, not April 25th. Despite the website showing April 25th as the grand opening and being able to book for that date; the opening date is going to be May 9th according to corporate representatives.
The resort will be located at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Great Wolf Lodge will feature a 549-room hotel, 91,00 square foot indoor water park, numerous restaurants & stores, and a 61,000 square foot family entertainment center. The resort will feature a number of kid-friendly attractions including their signature waterpark, MagiQuest (an interactive magic adventure), Oliver's Mining Company (a gold mining experience), Ten Paw Alley (bowling), Howlers Peak Ropes Course & Adventure Trail, Northern Lights Arcade, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Howl In One Mini Golf, and Virtual Frontier (a VR gaming experience). The hotel will feature 549 guest rooms including family suites, KidCabin suites, Grizzly Bear suites, Wolf Den suites, Deluxe Wolf Den suites, Deluxe Gizzly Bear suites, Great Wolf Geyser suites, and Deluxe Great Wolf Geyser suites.
