A new sushi restaurant is expected to open in the coming weeks in the former Galleria Restaurant location on Route 6!
The exterior signs and website for Golden Mango are up as work continues inside the restaurant, which will feature sushi, Japanese, Thai and other Asian specialties. An opening date hasn’t been finalized. Much of the menu will be similar to Sweet Mango, its sister restaurant at 692 West St. in Southington. Brothers (and chefs) Leo and Ivan Zhuo this fall will celebrate 10 years in business at the popular sushi spot. Golden Mango is located at 2 Spring Lane, in the small strip mall facing Farmington Avenue (Route 6). It replaces the Galleria Restaurant, which closed at the end of 2024 after 12 years in business.
