EAST HAVEN SCOOP: Drive-Thru/Walk-Up Only Starbucks planned

A new drive-thru & walk-up Starbucks is planned for East Haven. The new 1,265 square foot Starbucks is planned for 101 Frontage Road, the vacant lot adjacent to CarMax.

The drive thru would have enough space for up to 14 cars in the queue. A small parking lot would provide access for walk-up traffic. A order and pick-up window is planned for the site. There will be no interior lobby or seating (indoor or out).

A Planning & Zoning Commission meeting is planned for March 5th where the project will be presented and a possible decision rendered. No timeline has been announced for the construction and opening of the new Starbucks if approved.

This new Starbucks would be in addition to the location we reported on last week. A full-line Starbucks is planned for the TJ Maxx Shopping Plaza on the opposite site of I-95.
