Demolition work has finally started on the former Seasons restaurant at 990 Foxon Road in East Haven!
The demolition of the blighted structure will make way for a new development on the site. Mayor Joseph A. Carfora attended a site walk-thru yesterday with the Project Managers of the development. Some big names are planned for the development, according to prior reporting, including Five Guys, Starbucks, and Chipotle. An additional restaurant and medical office are planned to join, though the names have not been announced. The businesses would be spread out over 2 new building; one at 2,400 square feet and the other 8,672 square feet. Starbucks and Chipotle would both include drive thru lanes. A Bank of American ATM is also planned for the parcel, relocating from their current space on the land. The development was first approved back in 2023, but some changes were made to the plans recently, and re-approved at the Planning & Zoning Commission meeting in July.
