Barb's Pizza is NOW OPEN in their new Cromwell location at 77 Berlin Road. That's right, Barb's is back! The pizza shop replaces Wooster Street Pizza that closed in 2024.
The pizza shop serves slices & 2 sizes of pizzas alongside calzones, salads, grinders, tiramisu, and appetizers. Pizzas include some personal favorites like Neapolitan, Artichoke & Pesto, Queen Margarite, Buffalo Chicken, Chicago PIzza, Fresh Tomato Pie Ala Arpaia, a Gluten-Free Pie, and many more. You can also create your own from a list of toppings. The dining room may look like Wooster Street Pizza; but behind the decor, everything else is new. Barry has overhauled the building including replacing the ceilings, HVAC systems, lighting, electrical, and replacing all the kitchen equipment. The booths and tables have been restored, including deep cleaning and sanitizing to remove years of grease and gunk. Nothing has been left untouched! Keeping and restoring the themeing was part of the plan for Barry. He was the manager of the original Randys Wooster Street Pizza Shop at Burr Corners in Manchester; helping to open other Randy's Wooster Street Pizza Shops before opening the first Barb's Pizza in 2001 on Park Road in West Hartford. Barb's now has two locations, Cromwell and Southington at Factory Square, with plans for even more Barb's locations in the future!
