Barley Head Brewery in Mystic sold; to be rebranded

​Barley Head Brewery has been sold! The brewery was located at 12 Water Street in Mystic.

The brewery has been sold to George and Tim for a new brewery called Misfit Club. The brewery will be renovated and still brew Barley Head Beers.

The brewery said in a statement on their Facebook page: "Exciting Update. After seven wonderful years running Barley Head, we are excited to share the news that George and Tim of the Misfit Club have purchased the brewery. They are currently renovating the space and it will reopen soon under the name Misfit Club, while still brewing your favorite BHB beers. We would like to extend thanks to so many people, especially our wonderful customers, beertenders and employees, artists of the month and the community of merchants in Mystic. Can’t wait to raise a pint with you all when they reopen the doors! Sincerely, Drew and the BHB family."
