For my readers in the Northeast corner of Connecticut (aka the Quiet Corner); a movie theater is coming back to Sturbridge!
Entertainment Cinemas Sturbridge is coming soon to The Center at Hobbs Brook in Sturbridge. The cinemas replaces the former Cinemagic Stadium Cinemas that operated in the plaza until 2021. The movie theater is part of a chain owned by entertainment mogul Bill Hanney. The chain will transform the dated theater into a state-of-the-art cinema with luxury seating, a bar, full-serve kitchen, and much more. The refreshed theater is expected to open in mid-fall at 100 Charlton Road! |
