We are hearing the new Casadoro Ristorante & Bar is opening this evening (12/18)! This will be their soft opening, with a grand opening and ribbon cutting following after the new year! (Please check back here for an official opening time) The new restaurant, located at 2929 Berlin Turnpike, will feature the next generation of Italian-American cuisine. The building has been transformed into a beautiful new upscale restaurant after several months of construction! The restaurant continues to hire. If you’re going to set a soft opening do not operate like you’re truly ready for business because you’re not. Terribly slow service (lunchtime took one HOUR for 2 sandwiches) Don’t say you’ll have one prepped a certain way and it’s not. Don’t sit people so close they’re hitting elbows because it’s coat, sweater, big clothing season. The meal was overpriced and bland. Just like the desserts at Doro. They LOOK great but close your eyes I dare you to identity the flavor because your cannot. We passed on dessert at CasaDoro once we learned the same chef was in charge of the pastries. Shame they didn’t think to slow it down, do months of practices on their own staff with pacing , timing, seating and flavoring. They were literally working on the building the morning of the official first opening “soft opening”. Nothing soft about this rough opening. $14 for a sandwich without any meat and barely a sprinkle of pesto? Leave a Reply. |
