Bob's Discount Furniture plans to relocate from first location!

Bob's Discount Furniture is planning on moving their longtime Newington location after nearly 34 years!

Plans are in the works to move the discount furniture store from 3203 Berlin Turnpike, diagonally across the street to 3174 Berlin Turnpike, currently home to longtime tenant and office supply chain, Staples. The project is currently being put out to bid seeking contractors to complete the project work, which is scheduled to begin in May with a mid to late summer opening.

Staples is still open and is not currently closing. We are keeping an eye on the situation. No word on the future of the Staples store in Newington.

Bob's was founded in December 1991 by Bob Kaufman with the current Newington store serving as the very first in the chain, which is now headquartered in Manchester with around 180 locations spanning several states. Staples has also been at its current location for over 30 years.
