Springfield developments to watch in 2025

Projects to watch in 2025! Springfield has a few great projects that will take shape in 2025, take a look at some information below!

-The redevelopment of the former Eastfield Mall in Springfield is underway. Numerous tenants have signed on to the Springfield Crossing project including Target, BJ's Wholesale, La-Z-Boy, Petsmart, Chipotle, Hobby Lobby, Carter's, Skechers, and Chick Fil A. -We expect an update on the redevelopment of the former Sears near Springfield Crossing (former Eastfield Mall). We are hearing that Market Basket has expressed interest in the site; though nothing formal has been submitted. Stay tuned for more information in 2025.

-The development of condos at 'The Fort' in Springfield. The owners of the building plan to add condos in the upper levels of the building above The Fort and The Student Prince Cafe. OPAL Real Estate Group and The Yee Family are working with Winn Development on a $50 million redevelopment above the restaurant. They estimate it could house 50 or more condos.
