Pokémoto is planning a late December opening of its new Manchester location! The tentative opening date is December 31st, though that is subject to change.
The eatery serves poke bowls, boba, and more. The eatery will be located between Five Guys and Noodles & Co. at The Plaza at Buckland Hills! The restaurant replaces Sports Clips that recently closed. The plaza is welcoming a number of new tenants including Playa Bowls near Crumbl Cookies and Burlington (coming soon to former Big Lots.) The plaza is fully leased with a new residential component planned for the undeveloped land behind Joann Fabrics. According to their website: "Thomas Nguyen founded Pokémoto in New Haven, CT in 2017. While living in Hawaii, he discovered and fell in love with traditional Hawaiian poké. He realized there was a gap in the New England market which is known for amazing seafood but was missing poké. Thomas gambled on a poké bowl company in a vacant location across from Yale University and risked it all! Luckily, it was a success and the first Pokémoto shop was born!" The chain has over 45 locations with more coming soon!
