New warehouse planned for South Windsor

United Delivery is planning an expansion of their South Windsor facility.

The shipping company has submitted plans to the Inland Wetlands Agency in South Windsor for a new 30,000 square foot building behind their current space at 500 Sullivan Avenue.

The 30,000 square foot building represents an over 300% increase in size from their current 9,000 square foot building. The development would see the clearing of trees and infill of about 940 square feet of wetlands. The wetlands would be recreated at a 2:1 ratio, resulting in a new area of 1,900+/- square feet.
