Dosa Hut and Hot Bread are coming soon to School Street Square! The new Indian restaurant will occupy the former Rainbow space in the plaza; splitting the space with Shah's Halal Food.
This will be Dosa Hut's second location behind their current location in Rocky Hill at 946 Cromwell Avenue. The restaurant features Indian-style vegetarian cuisine with most menu items being vegan and/or gluten free. They serve a large variety of Dosa (a crepe with various fillings), Uthappam (pancakes made with rice & lentil with various toppings), Vegan curries, and much more. Apna Bazaar Grocery Store opened a portion of the former Big Y space earlier this year, Family Dollar relocated to a larger space in the plaza, a new laundromat opened, and Shah's Halal will be open next door to Dosa Hut! Look for them to open next with Hot Bread, a Indian bakery, in the same store space!
