The last two hold-out tenants in the Tong Building have officially moved out; clearing the way for the demolition of the building. -Manchester Chinese Cuisine has temporarily closed their restaurant; they have closed in the Tong Building, but plan to relocate nearby. They are still finalizing the deal for their new space. Stay tuned for the new location announced! They plan to reopen this fall. -Luna Day Spa has closed their doors at the Tong Building. It’s unclear if they relocated or completely closed. These were the last remaining tenants in the Tong Building. The town plans to demolish the building in the coming months for redevelopment. No developer has been picked for the new development on the site. A new RFP (request for proposal) will be issued soon for the redevelopment. The buildings previous tenants all moved out including: The BeaHive Salon which moved to Lenox Plaza, Family Appliances moved to 61 Tolland Turnpike, and Connecti-Cuts moved to 983 Main Street.
