After 5+ years and numerous lawsuits, Connect 55+ is NOW OPEN at 140 Spencer Street!
The new senior housing community was approved for construction in 2019. The new 180 unit, 3 story, complex was originally dubbed Spencer's Landing; but was renamed to Connect 55+ to match the company's new nationwide branding. The facility features resort-like amenities. Each unit has their own in unit washer & dryer, modern kitchen with dishwasher, highspeed internet, and more. The project came to halt amid Covid-19 supply issues. Contractors sued the project's owner, Calamar Construction, alleging they were owed for work that was completed on the site. Construction picked up in recent years.
