Two new restaurants from the Market Hospitality Group are coming to West Hartford Center!
Market Hospitality Group has purchased the former CVS Pharmacy building at 976-979 Farmington Avenue in West Hartford. The 9,200 square foot space will be divided into two new restaurants, Mercato and Blu Pointe. Mercato Italian Kitchen is an Italian restaurant concept, serving pastas, pizza, salads, and other authentic dishes with locally sourced ingredients! Mercato has locations in Shelton, Canton, and Southbury. Blu Pointe is a highend steakhouse and fish restaurant; serving locally sourced steak, fish, sushi, and a raw bar. The restaurat has an award winning wine list at their New York location. Blu Pointe has one existing location in Newburgh, NY. Construction is likely to begin next year; with opening planned for around this time next year. Market Hospitality has new restaurants planned throughout Connecticut including: 2 in Glastonbury under the Mercato and Market Place names, 1 in Newington named Beso Taco Bar, and 2 in Cheshire under the Mercato and Market Place names! Market Hospitality operates restaurants throughout NY, FL, and CT under the names: Mercato, Market Place Kitchen, Market Place Tavern, Beso Taco Bar, Blu Pointe, Key Largo Fisheries, The Village Wheel.
