Can you keep a secret? A new speakeasy-esque lounge has opened in Torrington! The Franklin Lounge is now open at 48 Main Street in Torrington; directly next door to their sister restaurant, Sasso's Coal Fired Pizza! The new eatery is located in the former Franklin Print Shop. You can settle in with an elegant cocktail from their expansive list of signature drinks including The Smoked Bee, Yellow Jacket, The Franklin Boulvadier, Allen House Old Fashioned, Hotchkiss Sour, Oaxaca, Main Street Manhattan, 1955, Vesper, John Brown, or Wiliam Patten. The restaurant serves a variety of sophisticated foods including charcuterie for 2, filet tartare, seared scallops, herb crsuted lamb lollipops, braised short ribs, and more. End the night with a dessert including Olive Oil Cake or Espresso Creme Brulee. The restaurant describes itself as "more than just a lounge - it's an experience. We're committed to providing an intimate, personalized experience for our guests.
