LL Bean has signed a lease for a new outlet store at 835 Queen Street in Southington! The new store would occupy the former Bob’s Store (clothing store not furniture.)
The outlet store will occupy just over 22,000 square feet. The store plans to open this fall, possibly as early at October according to corporate! Bob's Store is currently liquidating their Southington store along with the rest of the chain after they filed for bankruptcy earlier this summer. This would be the chain’s fourth location behind South Windsor, Danbury, and the soon-to-be-open Enfield location! LL Bean previously operated an outlet store in Orange before they moved the store to New Haven as a full-line store. The New Haven store closed earlier this year. They just started hiring for the new location.
