PLAINVILLE SCOOP: Boot Barn plans new store!

Boot Barn is planning their second Connecticut location in Plainville!

The western wear retailer would be located at 282 New Britain Avenue, occupying the 17,000+/- square foot space next door to the future Aldi! The space was formerly home to Justice (closed) and Old Navy before moving to a new space in the plaza.

The store sells boots, hats, apparel, and much more. They were started in 1978 and have since grown to 411 stores across the US. They expanded into Connecticut in 2023 with a store in Manchester; they expanded into Mass earlier this year with a location in West Springfield.

Construction is projected to begin in late 2024 with a late winter/early spring 2025 opening! Stay tuned!
