New Haven has a new plant-based ice cream & dessert shop! Via Lactea CT is NOW OPEN at 2 Whitney Avenue in New Haven. The new vegan shop sells pastries & homemade ice cream. Vegan Ice cream flavors including inventive like banana speculoos, coffee chip, caramel brownie, coquito, guava panetela, home planet, matcha strawberry, mint chocolate cookie, and many more! The shop owners were recently semi-finalists for the James Beard Foundation Award in the 'Outstanding Bakery' category. The shop's hours are: Monday thru Thursday 12pm-7pm Friday 12pm-8pm Saturday thru Sunday 12pm-9pm
