The former Al's Hot Dog Stand building in Naugatuck will soon be demolished to make way for a new gas station.
The longtime hot dog stand was located at 248 South Main Street in Naugatuck, CT for over 47 years. The stand closed in February for the redevelopment project, the hot dog stand announced they will reopen inside the new gas station. Neighbors recently received notice of the planned demolition. The new owner, ARKDYA LLC, plans to build a roughly 1,900 square foot store with a new space for Al's Hot Dog Stand inside the store. The gas station will have 4 fuel pumps with 8 fueling positions.
