MYSTIC SCOOP: Margaritas to close!

Margaritas Mystic will be closing their doors permanently on December 19th. The Mexican restaurant is located at 12 Water Street in Mystic, part of Factory Square.

The Mexican eatery is part of a chain of 24 restaurants under the Margaritas name. The chain's only other Connecticut location is East Hartford at 350 Roberts Street.

The restaurant is not affliated with Chuck's Steakhouse & Margarita Grill in Storrs; though it once was part of the same restaurant chain owned by John Pelletier. The Storrs location was sold back to Chuck's Steakhouse and operates independently.
