FOXWOODS SCOOP: BK Lobster closes

BK Lobster has closed their doors at the casino's outlet center, Tanger Outlets, Foxwoods. It is unclear when the restaurant's final day of business was. The restaurant is now dark with all fixtures removed and the restaurant's phone numbers are both dead.

BK Lobster was a seafood restaurant within Tanger Outlet, the restaurant sold 11 different lobster roll varieties, lobster salad, normal salads, burgers, chicken, fish, lobster mac & cheese, and much more. The restaurant recently add Jamaican food to their menu.

BK Lobster is a chain with locations in NY, NJ, FL; the Foxwoods location was the chain's only CT location. The chain's main website is no longer active.

The restaurant chain has been shrouded in legal trouble for the past few years, mostly due to their rapid growth with new franchises and no complying with franchising laws in New York. The restaurant's CEO was accused of stealing over $300,000 from franchisees.
