BLOOMFIELD SCOOP: Ginza returning to Bloomfield!

Ginza Japanese Cuisine is coming soon to Bloomfield!

The restaurant will occupy the former Concetta's Italian Restaurant at 22 Mountain Avenue in Bloomfield, Ocean State Plaza. It appears, based on the business license filings a new owner, named Xiaomei Mao, will operate the Bloomfield location. The restaurant's website is still https://www.ginzabf.com/

Based on the floor plan, tableside hibachi will not be part of the new restaurant; regular hibachi will be cooked in the kitchen and brought to customers. The new restaurant will feature a bar, sushi bar, seating for 106, and a private room for 8 or more. No timeline for their opening was immediately available. Messages to the restaurant were not returned.

This marks the return of a fan-favorite restaurant. The restaurant previously had a location at Wintonbury Mall for decades before it closed in June of 2023.
