BIG LOTS SCOOP: 6 more Big Lots stores closing, now 9 in total!

Big Lots will be closing additional Connecticut locations!

The store will be closing their stores at:
650 Wolcott Street, Waterbury
3105 Berlin Turnpike, Newington
1931 E Main Street, Torrington
560 Windsor Avenue, Windsor
169 Danbury Rd, New Milford
42 Town St, Norwich

This is in addition to the previously announced locations in Manchester, Waterford, and Milford. Liquidations is expected to take 2-3 months according to 2 store employees.​ The store currently has 16 locations across the state and so far only these 9 are listed to close. The chain has other locations in Bristol, Derby, East Hartford, East Haven, Middletown, North Haven, and  Wallingford.

The chain recently announced it would close 142 stores and possibly file for bankruptcy, these new closure are not part of the previously announced 142 locations. The chain also has doubt it could continue to operate without these changes.
