Board & Brush Mystic, CT has announced that they will close their studio at 80 Stonington Road in Mystic! The studio offered custom made wood signs, sign making classes, private parties and much more.
The studio will permanently close on March 15th. If you have store credit, rebook codes, or gift cards please contact the store for your options to use them or receive a refund. The owners said in a statement: 'We are very sorry to announce that the Mystic Board & Brush Creative Studio is closing and our last workshop will be on 3/15. If you have a rebook code, store credit, or gift certificate please contact us immediately so that we can review options with you for the use of these items or if a refund is appropriate. The [email protected] email address and telephone number, (860)325-1650, will remain active for the next few weeks. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. We have enjoyed our time in Mystic and we thank you for letting us be a part of your community.'

Berkins on Main is NOW OPEN at Hartford Public Library at 500 Main Street! The cafe features coffee, tea, baked goods, as well as many quick breakfast and lunch items! The coffee shop was formerly located inside the Wadsworth Atheneum. Berkins has other location on Oak Street in Hartford and in Glastonbury. BMuse Cafe is NOW OPEN in the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, replacing Berkins! The cafe is located at 600 Main Street. BMuse Cafe offers fresh, healthy and bountiful salads and sandwiches. BMuse has additional locations in Middlebury and Wallingford. Victus Coffee by J.René Coffee Roasters is NOW OPEN at 777 Main Street, the former space of G Cafe and Blue State Coffee! They are owned by J Rene in West Hartford. DONO Cafe at the new Pennant apartment development is NOW OPEN! The coffee shop is located at 1212 Main Street, near the Hartford Yard Goats stadium! Their menu features coffees, lattes, smoothies, sandwiches, and much more! Make sure you check them all out when you're in the City! Baker & The Brew has put their closing on hold! The coffee shop, located in Sofia’s Plaza in East Windsor, had previously announced their plans to permanently close on February 29th. The change was confirmed with staff on site, who said the owner had reconsidered their closing. When the shop was visited on Sunday, it was bustling, with a completely full dining room. The mall has reinvented itself by adding new tenants and successfully replacing former anchor stores. Check out some of their latest additions:
-Target is coming soon to the former Sears store. Target will be opening on the first floor of the former anchor store, Primark will remain in their current location. -Round1 is coming soon on the first floor! The entertainment center replaces the old Forever 21 space, and has added a new exterior entrance next to LL Bean. The entertainment center will feature bowling, an arcade, restaurant, bar, karaoke, billiards, and more! Bath & Body Works moved from their longtime Enfield Square Mall into Enfield Commons at 25 Hazard Avenue! The new store features White Barn, a sub-brand of B&BW feature candles and scents. Carter’s Babies and Kids recently opened next door to Bath & Body Works. The store sells kids and baby clothing. Three new tenants are coming soon to Mansfield! Chipotle Mexican Grill, Five Guys, and Aspen Dental are coming soon to 106 Storrs Road. A new multi-tenant building is under construction on the site of Champagne Motor Cars.
The demolition work has begun at the car dealership. Most of the dealership will remain, though a portion of the auto-repair garage will be removed and part of the car lot will be relocated. Chipotle will feature a Chipot-lane, a mobile order pick up window. Five Guys will be located in the middle of the building, and Aspen Dental will occupy the end cap. Signage and building permits issued late last year andd early this year confirm the long-speculated tenants. Perkatory Coffee Roasters Queen Street will open their doors officially tomorrow, Friday 02/02! The address of the new shop will be 36 Queen Street. The coffee shops hours will be February 2nd! Monday-Friday: 6am-6pm and Saturday-Sunday: 7am-6pm!
This will be the coffee shop second Southington location, with one inside Factory Square, Southington that will stay open. This is Perkatory Coffee Roasters' fifth location overall, with locations in West Hartford, Middletown (the OG), Southington (Factory Square, Southington), Branford, and this new location!
